Jessica Simpson

Ok so I just had to rant just a little bit about this whole Jessica Simpson "weight issue" thing. I personally believe that Jessica Simpson is a beautiful curvy woman. I don't think she is "fat" or "disproportioned" as news articles have called her. I also think its great of Ashley ( her sister) to stick up for her. Our country is going through so much turmoil and people are losing their homes and cannot afford to feed their families and this is the best thing that the news stations and the media can come up with. Coming from a high school with a high number of those with eating disorders I am APPALLED. I remember last year when Tyra was called fat and she just looks normal. No she is not ridiculously thin anymore but she looks great. I am 110% fascinated and obsessed with the fashion industry but I honestly am sick of seeing rail thin woman out there setting the example of what is considered beautiful. Yes SOME clothes look better when they drape but more clothes look better skimming over curves. Anyone else upset by this?!?!?!

Bride Wars

I just got back from going to see Bride Wars starring Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson and overall it was pretty good. The story line was a little off the wall but the clothes and handbags were AMAZING. It was definitely my favorite looks... we have Kate Hudson's character who was more classy conservative while Anne Hathaway was more gypsy chic. I reccomend seeing it but maybe paying the matinee price and not full price... LOL

• take more fashion risks


• buy more basics so I can mix and match


• stay away from the color black


• wear a skirt or dress at least 2x a week


• embrace all types of earring not just Hoops and studs... time for some chandeliers


• try colored tights


• buy a Chanel bag and Louboutin heels

Hello and welcome to my very first blog. My name is Jenni Jehanne Jean-Pierre and I have a "passion for fashion". I love everything about it and I can find it anything and everything. I am addicted to fashion magazines and any reality show dealing with it. I watch the Hills and the City solely to look at the ensembles and see how everyone pieces everything together. I don't fall into one particular category because I dress the way that I feel. Sometimes I am more Rihanna ( rocker-chic) and other times I look like a poster girl for J.Crew.

I was born in Port au Prince, Haiti in 1982 and then moved to Michigan in 1988. I currently reside in Palm Beach Gardens, FL and my dream is to live in Paris, South Beach or NYC. I want to be where the action is and where I can be immersend in fashion.
