Wisteria Lane....

Hey all-
You all know how very much I love, love the 50s style. I love how the women were so girly and the dresses were extremely feminine. While browsing thru my fave vintage shop, It's Vintage Darling, I came across this lil dress and instantly we locked eyes and I knew I had to have her. The print is so vibrant and girly and I love the tea length. I do need to make some customizations to it but I couldn't resist and had to wear it to work today. What do you think?

How fricken cayute would this dress be at the Kentucky Derby? I just may have to go next year, should I start searching for a hat now?? (always need a reason to justify shopping heehee)

I have really, really been into the whole super stacking on the bracelets, watches etc. I know I need to go to rehab before it gets completely out of hand and I have arm candy up to my elbows... (hmmm that's a though).. OOPS See, I have a serious problem! lol
The wooden letters in the back that spell out Jen were given to me on my 9th birthday by one of my oldest and dearest friends ever. It was originally J-E-N-N-Y but somehow along the years, the N&Y disappeared... c'est la vie
WHOO HOO to me, I actually like this smile! I also decided it time to start wearing a little bit more makeup. Next post, Imma do it UP!
yes, yes the naps are showing. Its time for another relaxer. I swear my hair is growing super duper fast. I have new growth within 6 weeks. Its that coconut oil, I soooo swear by it. Check out my hair post if you want to pick it up. Its A.MA.ZING!!!
ok, ok so I am teeny tiny bit obsessed with these darn shoes. Its so nice to look down at people bc I am so tall in them... sue me, I like the stilts lol

Homie the Clown....

Don't even laugh because I fricken adore these palazzo pants that I found at a thrift store in Virginia. I have been dying to wear them and even though they may look a little "mardi gras" ish... I will rock em till they die. I believe they were handmade and probably for a luau or a clown party but hey... I'll be that.. a CLOWN but I will be a cute clown... bet that :)
This heat is killing me so I couldnt take pics outside.. its 96 right now with a humidity of "jen's gonna have clown hair to go with those pants" Homie don't play that! :)

Do any of you have that one item in your closet that is so unconventional but it makes you smile when you see it? If so... share... tell me all about it!!!!

Tshirt: J Crew, Pants: Thrifted, Necklace: Forever 21

I LOVE the print and colors on these pants... LOVE THEM

too hot to do anything with my hair... no need to straighten it bc it just FRIZZES

80's Baby

Hey everyone.... it was over 80 degrees today! Whoo hoo!!!
I hope you all had a fantastic weekend and had a great Easter. I was without family this weekend, so I was a little sad but I cannot wait until I get to see my family again. I am a huge family girl and love holidays so to be without mine was a little rough for me. But I did have a wonderful weekend especially because my flag football team won both of our games and one was in OT. It was definitely a nail biter and one of these days I will post pics from our games.

I didn't do much today at all except do the whole 9-5 thing and promote/market/ sent emails to family about voting for me in the Latent Apparel Model Search that I am in. I'd appreciate if you all voted as well and please let me know when you vote by either posting here or on the page itself!

I have really been in a fashion funk and I need to get out of it before I leave for NYC this Friday.... any suggestions????
